| July 5th - At 2358hrs, Battalion 2 along with Westville FD and Woolwich Fire Company were dispatched to the NJTP at the 14.7 southbound mile marker for a motor vehicle crash with reports of a rollover. Crews arrived to find a 2 vehicle crash with one vehicle on its roof. The occupants of the overturned vehicle had self extricated and were on the shoulder of the roadway reporting minor injuries. The crew from Engine 921 provided a safe area and then secured both vehicles. EMS arrived, treated, and transported the injured parties. Engine 921's crew then assisted the NJSP with lighting and the clean up of the crash scene.

| June 30th - On Wednesday around 2202hrs, Engine 9-2, Rescue 7-3, and Rescue 25-1 was dispatched to the New Jersey Turnpike on mile marker 16.3 northbound for a motor vehicle crashing involving a motorcycle. Woolwich Fire Chief Ed Barber (25-101) arrived on location confirming the motor cycle crash at 16.3 northbound with the patient at 16.6 northbound. Crews were detailed to assist EMS with patient care and packaging. Engine 922 was then detailed to establish a landing zone for the NJ State Police Aeromedical helicopter "Southstar", as ALS was flying the patient to the trauma center. The LZ was setup at the 16.9 northbound mile marker with the assistance of the NJSP closing all of the lanes.

| June 28th - Battalion Two conducted a training session using Ladder 946 from Battalion Four. Captain Spade brought the Quint to Tacoma's firehouse to allow the members to cross train on the ladder. Members were instructed on the setup, operation, and break down of the ladder. Each member had a chance to setup the outriggers and fly the main, and then restore the ladder. A couple of members took the time to also scale the ladder. Utilizing this ladder is very different from "flying the bucket". A thank you to Battalion 4 for their time for our drill night!

| June 26th - On Saturday at 1800hrs, Battalion Two sent Engine 921 to the Westville Fire Department to provide cover along with Ladder 936 as Westville was celebrating the holiday weekend ending with a fireworks display. Marine 9-2 was also sent to Wiggins Park in Camden to assist the marine operations for a large fireworks display along the Delaware River. Crews remained in service until 2300hrs.

| June 24th - Shortly after 1500hrs on Thursday, a Severe Thunderstorm warning was posted for the area by the National Weather Service. Around 1530hrs, the skies had darkened, winds began to pick up, lightning started to flash, and rains started to pour down. During the severe storm, Battalion Two received the following calls:
- 1541hrs - 219 Katherine Ave for a tree falling onto a house. A large tree was down but no damage occurred to the house.
- 1545hrs - 6 Cordelia Ave for a tree down on a vehicle. Crews found a branch down entangled in wires and a destroyed pickup truck. Due to the wires hazard, crews were unable to remove the branch, so the area was secured by the police department.
- 1548hrs - I/A/O Grace and Magnolia Ave for a tree across the roadway. Crews made quick work of the tree removal.
- 1606hrs - 1200 Delsea Drive for a structural collapse, and Rescue 938 was also dispatched. Crews arrived to find the roof membrane over Bagelicious and the Abilities Center had blown off, and water was causing ceiling tiles to fall. Notifications were made to both the Deptford OEM and Construction office. Crews cleared at 1640hrs.
- 1656hrs - I/A/O Almonesson Rd. & Timber Creek Overpass for wires down. Crews found a primary wire down in the creek. PSE&G was dispatched to secure the wire. Crews remained on location until 1830hrs.
- 1744hrs - 217 Marion Ave for a tree into a house. No damage occurred to the house, and crews helped remove the tree.
- 1803hrs - 408 Tacoma Blvd for reports of a wire burning in a tree in the rear of the yard. Area was secured and PSE&G notified.
- 1817hrs - 219 Katherine Ave to help the home owner remove the tree from the home.
- 1839hrs - 406 Tacoma Blvd for a wire down, believed to be related to the 408 Tacoma call. Wire is now down completely on the ground.
- 1924hrs - 1500 Almonesson Rd along with Battalion 3 to Marbarn Curtain Warehouse for a building fire. Crews found that there was a partial power loss with a buzzing sound coming from the power box. Power was secured and management was advised to contact an electrical contractor.
No injuries were reported as the storm passed through the area.

| June 20th - At 1904hrs, Marine 9-2 was dispatched as part of a Gloucester County Strike Team to National Park for a marine recovery assignment along the Delaware River. Crews assisted with searching the river until 2300hrs when the search was suspended. The Marine unit returned to the river on Monday the 21st at 1717hrs and assisted with the recovery again until 2300hrs when the search was suspended. On Tuesday, June 22nd, at 0830hrs the marine unit returned to national Park to assist again, and this time was teamed up with the Marine unit from Brooklawn. During this operation the missing swimmer was located.

| June 19th - At 1030hrs, Battalion Two assisted a Community Outreach group with an open house and community event at the Helping Hand Fire Company on Fisher Street, in the North Woodbury section of Deptford Township. The fire department displayed fire apparatus, and through the Recruitment Division had fire safety materials for those in attendance including plastic fire hats, coloring books, and school packs for those children in attendance. The event went until 1800hrs and was well attended by the community.

| June 14th - Battalion Two along with Battalion One of the Deptford Fire Department went to the Camden County Fire Academy to train on the vehicle fire simulation. Crews worked together on numerous training evolutions for vehicle fires.

| June 4th - On Friday at 1800hrs, Battalion Two sent Engine 922 to cover Station 7-3 as the members of the Westville Fire Department were attending the viewing for Chief Eric Farley's mother's funeral. Engine 922 covered until 2130 without handling any calls.
On Saturday at 0800hrs, Engine 922 returned to Station 7-3 to provide coverage again as members of the Westville Fire Department were attending the funeral of Chief Eric Farley's mother. At 0823hrs, the crew of Engine 922 was dispatched to 507 Broadway for a medical assist call. A male on location had severe lacerations to his forearm. The crew provided basic life support until the arrival of Deptford EMS.
At 1238hrs, the Westville Fire Department was dispatched to cover the Gloucester City Fire Department with an engine. Chief Farley advised the cover engine to handle the assignment. Engine 922 responded to Gloucester City and provided coverage while they were in Camden City battling a two-alarm fire. Engine 922 provided this cover until 1355 when Quint 514 returned to quarters. A special Thank You to Chief Hagan of the Gloucester City Fire Department for his hospitality during our stay.
